Based in Falkirk, Renewable Heat was set up in 2014 by Barry and Ritchie having spotted a gap in the heat pump market. Key Responsibilities:

This role is customer-facing and requires you to lead and manage a team of heating engineers. It also requires technical knowledge and experience.

  • Design, install, and commission a heating system in both new build and retrofit projects.
  • Prepare a programme of work and manage operational delivery within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Address and resolve project-related issues that arise.
  • Ensure compliance with company health, safety and welfare, and employment policies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and managing client expectations.
  • Provide regular updates to clients and senior management on project progress, financial status, and any significant issues.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers fostering a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in contract management processes and implement best practices.

What qualifications do you need

  • NVQ level 3 in plumbing or similar 
  • Water Regulations Qualification
  • A recognised MCS heat pump qualification though not essential
  • Full driving license with no more than 6 points
